Atlanta, GA — The Judicial Council, chaired by Chief Justice P. Harris Hines, will meet at the James H. “Sloppy” Floyd Building in the Floyd Room on February 24, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to discuss a variety of action items and reports.
The Council will hear reports from the Policy and Legislative Committee, the Budget Committee, the Strategic Plan Standing Committee, Education and Training Committee, and the Access, Fairness, Public Trust and Confidence Committee. A special presentation on the Criminal E-Filing Initiative will be delivered by Mr. Carey Miller.
The 27-member Judicial Council of Georgia meets several times a year to act on policy and administrative matters of the judiciary.
