The AOC staffs the Judicial Council which works to improve justice in all Georgia courts through collaboration, innovation, and information.The AOC strives to provide subject-matter expertise on policy, legislation, and court administration to all of Georgia's courts.The AOC also furnishes a full range of information technology, budget, and financial services to the judicial branch.

The Judicial Council of Georgia is the policy-making body for Georgia’s judiciary, chaired by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia. Membership consists of 26 judges who represent the state’s appellate and trial courts.

The Administrative Office of the Courts archives the rules for all classes of courts. Upon revision, rules 
for the Supreme Court of Georgia, Court of Appeals of Georgia, and Georgia's trial courts are posted in accordance with O.C.G.A § 50-18-2 . Click here to view court rules.
