The Judicial Council is the policy-making body for Georgia’s judiciary, chaired by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia. Membership of the Judicial Council consists of twenty-six judges who represent the state’s appellate and trial courts. The Council meets at least four times a year to consider new judgeships, budgetary and legislative matters, and judicial branch programs and policies.

The Judicial Council of Georgia will meet Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 12 noon – 5:00 p.m. at the Empire Room of the Sloppy Floyd Building in Atlanta. The agenda and materials will be made available prior to the meeting.
