Citation Code Standardization

The citation code standardization web service allows software systems and users to access the master violation code list in real time as it is updated. The code list is available in three formats: XML, CSV, and JSON. The code list can be accessed programmatically using a HTTP GET on one of the following three urls. Users can also access them directly by following the urls.

Note: When opening a CSV in Microsoft Excel make sure to prevent date parsing on the CITATION_CODE field. See this guide. Otherwise codes like "10-1-40" will be changed to "10/1/1940"
