VICTIM ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Please contact the District Attorney Robert Lavendar at 706-376-3128 for information concerning the Northern Judicial District's victim assistance program.
The district attorney's office has a victim assistance advocate to help victims of crime.
If you are a victim of a violent (not property) crime, you may be eligible for victim compensation. You must file a completed application within six months after date of the crime. There does not have to be an arrest in order to apply. Please contact the district attorney's office for help.
