PASSPORTS

Passport Applications are accepted Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. AND 1 p.m. to 4:30p.m.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Certified copy of your birth certificate
  • Two passport pictures (most photography studios will take these for you
  • Your driver's license

If you are getting a passport for your minor child, we will need all of the above and you will need to bring the child in with you to apply for the passport.

Note: children under age 14 require both parents' signatures. If both parents are unable to come in, call our office for additional information.

Adults: $67
Check or money order to Passport Services

Minors 15 and under: $52
Check or money order to Passport Services

AND: $30
to Troup Co. Probate Court (Cash only)


It takes 25 to 30 business days for you to receive your passport. If you care to expedite there is a $60 additional charge and you must two-way overnight mail. You can expect to receive the expedited passport back in about 2 weeks.

PASSPORT RENEWALS

Checklist for Passport Renewal Form:

1. You have you most recent U.S. passport
2. You were at least 16 years old when your most recent U.S. passport was issued.
3. You were issued your most recent U.S. passport less than 15 years ago.
4. You can use the same name as on your most recent U.S. passport; OR, you have had your name changed by marriage or court order and can submit proper documentation to reflect your name change.

Renewal forms may be obtained at the Probate Court.
