ELECTIONS DIVISION

Probate Court is responsible for conducting all Federal, State and County Elections.

Certification classes are conducted for Troup County residents wishing to work at the polls on election day. For information, call Amy Hyatt, (706) 883-1690.

Certification classes for anyone interested in working elections in the 2004 election cycle will be held at the Troup County Parks and Recreation Center located on LaFayette Parkway in LaGrange on February 9th and 23rd from 6:00pm till 8:00pm. If you want to attend these meetings please call Amy Hyatt at 706-883-1690. We need to know your coming so we will have enough training material.

ADVANCED VOTING: - This is a new form of In-Person Absentee voting now available to voters. Any voter can present himself or herself at an Absentee Voting location the Monday through Friday prior to an Election Day and request an absentee ballot without having to give reason for why they are voting absentee.
