Superior Court of Taliaferro County
 

Created on December 24, 1825, the county was named after Colonel Benjamin Taliaferro, a Wilkes County Judge, Western Judicial Circuit. The Superior Court of Taliaferro County is located at 113 Monument Street, Crawfordville and presides over jury trials, rules on evidence, hears motions, and renders verdicts in bench trials. Each Superior Court Judge is a constitutional officer elected to four-year terms of office.


Terms of Court of Taliaferro County commence on the 4th Monday in February, May, August and November.
