McDuffie County Superior Court
 

Named after George McDuffie, Governor of South Carolina, the county was created on October 18, 1870. The Superior Court of McDuffie County is located at 337 Main Street, Thomson, and presides over jury trials, rules on evidence, hears motions, and renders verdicts in bench trials. Each Superior Court Judge is a constitutional officer elected to four-year terms of office.


Terms of Court of McDuffie County commence on the 2nd Monday in March, June, September and December.
