Superior Court of Lincoln County
 

Created on February 20, 1796, Lincoln County was named for Major General Benjamin Lincoln, a Revolutionary War hero. Located at 210 Humphrey Street, Lincolnton, the Superior Court of Lincoln County presides over jury trials, rules on evidence, hears motions, and renders verdicts in bench trials. Each Superior Court Judge is a constitutional officer elected to four-year terms of office.


Terms of Court of Lincoln County commence on the 4th Monday in January, 3rd Monday in April, 4th Monday in July and the 3rd Monday in October.
