Superior Court of Franklin County
 

Franklin County, created February 25, 1784, is named after Benjamin Franklin, signer of the Declaration of Independence. The Superior Court of Franklin County is located at 9592 Lavonia Road, Carnesville, and presides over jury trials, rules on evidence, hears motions, and renders verdicts in bench trials. Each Superior Court Judge is a constitutional officer elected to four-year terms of office.


Terms of Court of Franklin County commence on the 3rd Monday in March and 3rd Monday in September.
