Superior Court of Barrow County
 

Barrow County was created on November 3, 1914 and named after David Crenshaw Barrow, Chancellor of the University of Georgia. The Superior Court of Barrow County, located at 30 N. Broad Street, Winder, presides over jury trials, rules on evidence, hears motions, and renders verdicts in bench trials. Each Superior Court Judge is a constitutional officer elected to four-year terms of office.


Terms of Court of Barrow County commence on the last Monday in January, First Monday in February, 1st Monday in May, 2nd Monday in August, and 1st Monday in November.
