Atlanta, GA — The Judicial Council, chaired by Chief Justice P. Harris Hines, will meet in the Floyd Room at the James H. “Sloppy” Floyd Building in Atlanta on February 23, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to discuss a variety of action items and reports.
The Council will hear reports from the Legislation Committee, Budget Committee, Technology Committee, Court Reporting Matters Committee, Strategic Plan Committee, and Misdemeanor Bail Reform Committee. Mr. Chris Carr, Attorney General, will report on the work of the Attorney General’s Office.
The 27-member Judicial Council of Georgia meets several times a year to act on policy and administrative matters of the judiciary.
