Total poverty population in county(ies) served by grant applicant ÷
Total persons in poverty in Georgia (see Poverty Population by County Chart = % of persons in poverty in the county(ies).
Grant amount × % of persons in poverty in the county(ies) = Amount allowed under grant formula.

Reporters
The Board regulates court reporters. It sets testing and continuing
education requirements and standards of professional conduct for court
reporters. The division serves as the point of contact for individuals
interested in working as a certified or registered court reporter. It
maintains a database of professional court reporters qualified to work
in Georgia courts.
Court
Interpreters
The Commission on Interpreters also recruits, trains and licenses interpreters in many
languages to meet the needs of the court system. The office lists registered

on the AOC website, www.georgiacourts.org , or a dedicated hotline,

Responsibility for Interpreters.

Both private probation entities and governmental (city and county) probation entities provide supervision, counseling, and collection of court-ordered fines to courts for individuals convicted of misdemeanor offenses.
